SANDY-- Weldon Albert Freeman 84 died Aug. 3, 2000 at his home following a long illness.

Born Nov. 28, 1915 to Issac E. and Mable Sorensen Freeman in Riverton, Utah. Mar-ried Loma Lucille Lund June 10, 1950 in Elko, NV. She preced-ed him in death.

Weldon was a mas-ter carpenter, and worked as Foreman on Major Construc-tion at Kennecott Copper, also was the general foreman of the original Const. for the Salt Palace. A member of Local 184 for more than 50 years and retired as their business agent. And a member of the Sunday brunch Moffia Club.

Survived by son and daughters: Karren (Norman) Denham, West Valley City; Janet Stevensen, Kearns; Col. (Ret.) Ron L. (Kathy) Freeman, Sandy; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters Nona Farrer, and Mary Freeman both Sandy. Preceded in death by son, Skip.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. where friends may call Sunday. eve. from 6-8 p.m. and on Monday one hour prior. Interment at the Larkin Sunset Gardens.
