MOAB — Grand County Search and Rescue crews have located the body of the 13-year-old Woodstock, Ill., boy who had been missing for four days.
The name of the boy was not released because he is a juvenile.
His body was found Saturday morning near the Porcupine Rim bike trail, about 10 miles east of Moab, in an area "of very rough terrain and cliffs," according to a statement released by Grand County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's officials were not more specific about where exactly the body was located, nor would they release details of how the boy died.
A search for the boy began on Tuesday. A bike, clothes and food believed to have belonged to him were found that night. He was with a group of six other bikers when he separated from the group Tuesday afternoon.
