KAYSVILLE

- Chad C. Swallow, 76, passed away August 5, 2000 at his home in Kaysville after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

He was born March 16, 1924 in Meadow, UT a son of Thomas C. and Vanda Duncan Swallow. Married Nor-ma Robins in the Salt Lake LDS Temple April 18, 1946. Chad served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, Asiatic and Pacific Ocean Air Offensive, receiv-ing two Presidential Citations, Silver Star and Distinguished Unit Badge, and other awards.

Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Norma; daughters, Linda (Louis) Woodall, Layton, UT, Darlene (Kenneth) Haws, Hooper, UT; sons, Norman (Susan) Swallow, Kevin (Tamara) Swallow, Kaysville, UT; 14 grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; brother, Grover (Brookie) Swallow, Panaca, NV; and sisters, Opal Jones, Murray, UT, Thera (Sheldon) Ross, Reno, NV, Shirley Gotchy, Sunset, UT.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday Aug 8, 2000 at the Kaysville 15th LDS Ward Chapel, 555 N. 100 E. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Mon. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main, Kaysville, and 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery, with military honors accorded by Combined Veterans Honor Guard.
