Ruth Gertrude Sanders Paris, died July 31, 2000 in West Sacramento, California at the age of 101 years.
Born in Murray, UT April 22, 1899, the daughter of Heber Soren and Gertrude Mary Sheppard Sand-ers. One brother and three sisters preced-ed her in death. She married Paul James Paris in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Sept 21, 1921. He passed a-way June 14, 1984 in Austin, TX.
Survived by one son, Keith Paris and wife, Donna, Pasadena, TX; two daughters, Mrs. Richard G. Burt (Marilyn), West Sacramento, CA, Mrs. Lewis F. Stakes (Annette), Garden Grove, CA; 16 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the first graduating class of Murray High School in 1918. She and her husband spent their married life in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Texas. For the past seven years she had made her home in West Sacramento, CA with her daughter.
