SANDY — Providence Academy, a new private school offering full- and part-time programs and flexible schedules, is accepting applications for student enrollment.

Those interested are invited to attend parent meetings, scheduled at 7 p.m. Monday at Whitmore Library, 2197 Fort Union Blvd.; Tuesday at 1 p.m. at West Jordan Library, 1970 W. 7800 South, or 7 p.m. at Sandy Library, 10100 S. Petunia Way (1450 East); and Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Sandy Library or 7 p.m. at Riverton Library, 12860 S. Redwood Road.

The school features a "tried and tested learning delivery system where the scriptures are used in every subject; a system that enhances retention and creates excitement for learning, thereby creating the atmosphere for accelerated education."

"We are excited to have a school that incorporates more than 50 percent moral values and gospel principles in every subject," said R. Quin Denning, president.
