The Web site beckons: Are you an intellectual . . . a connoisseur . . . a renaissance man . . . woman . . . lover of fine things . . . a foodie?

According to the site, a foodie is defined as "an individual having a passion for the latest food fads."

If this sounds like you, then look to the latest entrée in the culinary world, Foodie magazine. Being served up in newsstands this summer, its self-proclaimed mission is to focus less on recipes and more on the faces and trends that shape haute cuisine.
