RIVERTON-- Beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend returned to her Heavenly Father Aug. 6, 2000 after a courageous 17 year battle with cancer.

She was born to Melba LaRue Green and Octave Lynn Bridges on June 7, 1946 at the Murray Cottonwood Maternity Home. She lived her life in Riverton, Utah where she met her eternal companion, Randy Scott Brinkerhoff. They where married June 3, 1968 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She is survived by her mother, husband, children Stephenie (Marty) Spradlin, Blair (LaNece) Brinkerhoff, Sharlynn (Scott) Carter, Shanna (John) Grande and Sherion Brinkerhoff; grandchildren Karlie, Kelsey and Kendra Carter, Kaden and Aubrey Brinkerhoff, John Grande IV and Tyler Spradlin; two brothers, ElRay (Ann) Bridges, Sheldon (Bonnie) Bridges and many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her father and grandparents.

Lynette was a graduate of Bingham High School as was her husband and all of her children. She was an accomplished beautician and a graduate of Hollywood Beauty College. She loved music and dance, but most of all spending time with her family. She was loved by all who knew her and touched many lives. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. She enjoyed attending the temple with her husband and family. She was currently working at Bio-Logics where she had many special friends who genuinely cared for her and their generosity will be forever cherished.

A special thanks to Dr. Ford and his staff and the staff at LDS Hospital for their loving care.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000 at 11 a.m. in the Riverton LDS Stake Center, 13400 So. 1855 W. Friends may call Wednesday eve. from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 So. 2200 W. and Thursday one hour prior at the church. Interment Riverton Cemetery.
