A farmer stops with his children to speak with a Fijian soldier at a roadblock near the farming village of Korovou, about 30 miles outside of Suva, the capital of Fiji, Wednesday. The shooting deaths of a policeman and a soldier Tuesday by a gang believed to be supporters of jailed coup leader George Speight has increased tension in an area. Fiji's military warned of possible new rebel attacks as they searched for the gunmen Wednesday. The two were killed when their patrol went to investigate reports of gunfire in Speight's home district.
