Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, John Klotovich, passed away August 07, 2000 at age of 83.
Born Feb. 24, 1917 in Highland Boy, Bingham Canyon, Utah to Anna and Dan Klotovich. Married Gladys Silcox Aug. 26, 1938; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 26, 1968. John enjoyed gardening, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, helping others, and listening to Western Music. He was the family handy man and followed the Jazz with great interest. He was "Outstanding Employee of the Year" for Jordan School District in 1976 and received the "Service to Others Award" from Westland Elementary School in 1973. John taught his children exemplary work ethics by his example throughout his life. John Worked as a miner, had his own coal trucking and logging business. He was a custodian for Jordan School District for 12 years and at St. Anne's Catholic School for seven years.
Survived by his wife of 62 years, Gladys; children, Carol (Ron) Jones, Ivan (Gail) Klotovich, Dan (Alta) Klotovich, Bonnie (John) Rekoutis, Pauline (Wally) Shulsen, Jack (Brenda) Klotovich; 18 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren; brother, Mark Klotovich; sister, Mary Wall. Preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Louise Drazich.

services will be held Friday, August 11, 2000 at 11 a.m. in the Jordan River 2nd LDS Ward
1540 West 10400 South. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday at the church from 9-10:30 a.m.
Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
