Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Verna Higham Roach, passed away January 27, 2001 due to complications of medical procedures in a Salt Lake City Hospital.

Born January 16, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Richard Vernon Higham and Helen Frances Rauch Higham. Married Glen Roach July 3, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Lived in Tooele, Utah 53 years.

Survived by husband, children; John E. Roach (Charlene), Glen R. Roach, Jr. (Janean), Philip B. Roach (Kathy), and April R. Barnes (Wade), 14 grandchildren, two grandchildren-in-law, and three great-grandchildren, sister Helen Christopulos, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by mother, father, and one brother.

She loved to play golf when she was able with her husband and loved to travel when able. She especially enjoyed playing bingo with her many friends at the Tooele Senior Citizens. At her request graveside services will be held Saturday February 3, 2001 at

1 p.m. at the Tooele City Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Tate Mortuary
