Carmen B. Pingree, longtime advocate for autistic children, has been appointed to Primary Children's Medical Center Board of Trustees. She replaces Arthur Anderson, who retired after 25 years on the board.
Pingree helped organize the Utah Society for Autistic Children and served as president of the group, has been chairwoman of the National Autism Conference, chairwoman of the Utah Council for the Disabled and has served on several other boards for groups providing services, advocacy and research for children with autism.
She has also received a number of awards for her community advocacy.
