COALVILLE--<! > Claud Mondell Haws, 83, died in his sleep Thursday evening, Feb. 1, 2001, at the home of his son in Eagle, Idaho, after struggling with cancer and a series of small strokes.

He was born in Cokeville, Wyoming on June 26, 1917, the third son of John Ervin Haws and Vera Delila

Loveland Haws.

He is survived by his brother Glen Haws, of Santa Maria, CA; his daughter, Cheri Haws, of Santa Rosa, CA; his grandson Jesse Haws of Chi-cago; his son David Haws, daughter-in-law Susan Donaldson Haws, and grandchildren Eben, Sara, Luella and David, all of Eagle, ID.

He served full-time missions for the LDS church in Mississippi and Santa Rosa, California. He served in the navy during World War II, in north Africa and the south Pacific.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 5, 2001 at 1 p.m. at the Hoytsville Chapel. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary in Coalville Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday at the church one hour prior to services.

Interment, Hoytsville Cemetery.
