Obituary: Estella Drage Dunn

Estella Drage Dunn, 94, died peacefully at home March 9, 2001, from causes incident to age.

Born Nov 11, 1906, in Wanship, Summit County, UT. A daughter of Orson Henry and Ada Priscilla Brinton Drage. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Married W. Elmer Dunn Aug 18, 1924 in Salt Lake City. At his death, July 1, 1996, they had been married 72 years. Estella worked at Auerbach's Dept. Store for 35 years as a sales associate. She was active in the Ladies of Elks where she served as President in 1960. She loved travelling, fishing and camping in their trailer. As an all around "handy-man", she was always fixing something. She was a great example of motherhood to her posterity of 57.

Survived by one son, William E. (Norma) Dunn, Murray, UT; three daughters, Donna (Keith) Smith, currently serving a mission in Edinburgh, Scotland; Pat Haun, Salt Lake City, UT; Peggy (Don) McKinley, Mission Viejo, CA; sister-in-law, Gerry Drage; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and her faithful little dog, Karlee. Preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Ralph, A.B., and Don Drage; sisters, Louise Sorenson, Joan Bernice Peterson; and son-in-law, James Haun (Rouvaun).

Services will be 12 noon Mon. March 12, 2001, Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St., Murray, where friends may call prior to services 10:3011:45 a.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery, 5600 S. Vine St. (700 E.).
