SYNTHESIS, Tuesday, March 13, 7 p.m., Murray High School. The concert will feature jazz, swing, blues, rock, fusion, gospel and Latin works as well as works by Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller and Louis Armstrong. Tickets are $5, $3 and $15, available at the door.

MEN'S CHORUS, Tuesday, March 13, 7 and 9 p.m., de Jong Concert Hall, BYU, Provo, tickets are $8, available at the door; March 17, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., Cox Performing Arts Theater, Dixie State College, St. George, tickets are $12, $10, $9 and $5, available by calling 435-652-7800. The concert will feature a variety of musical styles, from African folk songs to English ballads.

TWELVE DANCING PRINCESSES, Tuesday-Wednesday, March 13-14, 7 p.m., Ballet Centre, 70 E. 4880 South. The Ballet Centre will present the original ballet based on the classic fairy tale. Tickets are $5, available at the door.

THE LOGAN CANYON WINDS, Wednesday, March 14, 7:30 p.m., Assembly Hall, Temple Square. The performance will feature works by Phillip Kent Bimstein, Dennis D. Griffin, Andrejs Jansons and Bizet. Free.

COUGARETTES SHOWCASE, Wednesday through Saturday, March 14-17, 7:30 p.m., Richards Building Dance Studio, BYU, Provo. The choreography will range from lyrical jazz to character dance and hip-hop. Tickets are $7, available at the door.

SAXOPHONE QUARTET, Thursday, March 15, 7:30 p.m., Madsen Recital Hall, BYU, Provo. The group will perform a variety of works for the saxophone. Free.

SPICE IN THE MIX: HARP ENSEMBLE, Thursday, March 15, 7:30 p.m., de Jong Concert Hall, BYU, Provo. The multiple-harp concert will feature music by Bernard Andres and Stanley Chaloupka as well as a variety of dancers. Tickets are $8, available at the door.

THE UTAH SYMPHONY CHAMBER ORCHESTRA and the Arcata String Quartet, Thursday, March 15, 7:30 p.m., Abravanel Hall. Conducted by Keith Lockhart, the concert will feature David Diamond's "Romeo And Juliet for Orchestra," Paul Chihara's "Kisses Sweeter Than Wine" and Wagner's "A Sigfried Idyll." THE LEGACY CHORALE, Friday, March 16, 7:30 p.m., Assembly Hall, Temple Square. Conducted by Brian Bentley, the chorale will perform works by Handel and Haydn and will feature Utah Opera Ensemble artists and others. Free.

INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC AND DANCE ASSOCIATION, INDIA CULTURAL CENTER AND SRI GANESHA TEMPLE OF UTAH PRESENT A CLASSICAL MUSIC CONCERT AND PERCUSSION MEDLEY, Saturday, March 17, 6:30 p.m., Behavior Sciences Auditorium, University of Utah. The concert will feature performances by Vikram Sundararaman, vocal; Ashwin Krishmakumar, flute; Jayanth Balasubramanian, Mridangam; Ravi Balasubramanian, Ghatam; and George Grant, tabla. Free.

KENNETH COWAN, Saturday, March 17, 7:30 p.m., Tabernacle, Temple Square. Cowan will perform a variety of works on the organ featuring pieces by Wagner, Scarlatti and Reger. Free.

KISMET SCHOOL OF DANSE ORIENTALE PRESENTS CONCERT OF DANSE ORIENTALE, Saturday, March 17, 8 p.m., University of Utah Marriott Center for Dance, Hayes-Christensen Theater. The concert will feature the talents of Kismet students, Kismet Dance Company and Tina Sargent. Tickets are $15, available at the door.

ST. PATRICK'S DAY INTERFAITH CONCERT, Saturday, March 17, 8 p.m., Franciscan, 172 N. 500 West, Provo.
