Caption only: Ready to whoop it up -- and fly away

Whooping crane, center, is one of only 400 worldwide. Relying on a plan that inspired the movie "Fly Away Home," the Fish and Wildlife Service hopes to re-establish a migratory flock of whooping cranes that would summer in Wisconsin and winter in florida. Ten to 25 cranes bred this spring in Maryland are to follow several ultra light aircraft and a plane along a 1,250-mile migration to central Florida next fall.
