Obituary: Trent W. Thomas

Trent Wilson Thomas passed away March 10, 2001 due to injuries incurred in an ATV accident.

Born July 6, 1969 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Alvin Eugene and Brenda Mae Duke Thomas. Trent was a wonderful husband, a loving father, the son every parent wishes for, a brother like none other and a friend to all he came in contact with. We all feel so blessed that he was a part of our lives here on earth and we all look forward to the day that we are reunited. Trent was a graduate of Woods Cross High School (class of 1987). He was a student at the University of Utah and a member of the Ute Marching Band. Trent also served a successful mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sendai, Japan. He lived life to the fullest each day and always had an inviting smile, and a contagious laugh. Trent was successful in everything he tried and he had such a gift with people. Trent was sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple to his wife and children for time and all eternity on February 14, 1998.

Trent is survived by his wife Mary and his children; Aubrey, Chase and Brock. He is also survived by his parents Gene and Brenda Thomas; brother and wife, Brett and Jennifer Thomas; sister and husband, Shauna and Paul Nelson; grandparents Wilson and Melba Duke; many uncles, aunts and countless cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the Orchard 11th Ward Chapel, 155 Coventry Way (125 So. 600 E.), No. Salt Lake. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Friday at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Trent Thomas trust fund at any First Security Bank. There is also trust fund set up for the Thomas children at Zion's First National Bank, #5 North Main, Bountiful, Utah 84010.
