'Tis the season for Cops & Lobsters

It's time for Cops & Lobsters, where local police officers will help serve customers at Red Lobster restaurants. Donations, in the form of tips, will benefit Special Olympics Programs and the Law Enforcement Torch Run.

Today and March 22 and 23, members of the Murray Police Department, Utah Department of Corrections and local FBI agents are scheduled to serve dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Murray Red Lobster, 298 E. Winchester. Last year, law enforcement officers earned $6,872 in tips at this site, according to a Red Lobster press release.

On April 20 and 21, the Salt Lake Police Department, Salt Lake County Sheriff's Department and the West Valley Police Department will serve dinner at the Red Lobster at 2294 S. 1300 East. At this location last year, law enforcement officers earned $2,954.
