Teasers should be punished

There can be no justification for students killing or maiming students. But, when will some action be taken to stop the teasing and other acts that bring some students to committing violence? This can be and all too often is devastating to the victims of it.

It cannot be said, "Oh, we are just having fun. They should be able to handle it." No one has the right to make this type of decision impacting others. Why do our lawmakers not make those doing the teasing legally responsible for their actions? After all, this is the origin of much of the violence being committed. Might it be that their family members are among those doing the teasing?
