AMERICAN FORK — Sento Corp. said Friday that a slowing economy will lead to fourth-quarter results being lower than previously announced.
The quarter ends March 31.
The customer relations management company said its clients have been hurt by the economic downturn, which "exerted pricing pressure" on Sento services and resulted in smaller call volumes than forecast.
Sales will be between $8.3 million and $8.5 million, resulting in an operating profit of $200,000 to $400,000, the company said. Net profit will be reduced by a previously announced one-time bad debt charge of more than $300,000.
Dennis Herrick, president and chief executive officer, said a new call center in Green River, Wyo., should be in service by June 1 and will help the company handle increased volume expected from new clients.
