Kyra Laine Darger, whom God so graciously allowed to touch our lives for five brief months, peace-fully passed away in her mothers loving arms, early in the morning of Saturday March 17, 2001.

She was born Oct. 12, 2000 with a birth defect unbeknownst to her parents. She was destined for a short sojourn in this mortal boon, but an eternal inheritance with her Heavenly Father. Her troubled health was so often masked by her en-gaging smile and laughing brown eyes. She had a spirit that bespoke of sweetness to all those who came in contact with her. Those who have held their own in the arms and ever wondered what it would be like to have such joy taken from them could only understand her bond with her parents. Perhaps her goodness was too good for the confines of this sphere. Her parents are humbled by the brief stewardship they held so she could return to her Father in Heaven. It is our hope that we are worthy enough to see her again. The family is touched by the numerous expressions of love by friends and family too numerous to thank individually. We wish to thank all those whose efforts are not unnoticed in this time of loss.

Survived by her parents, Joseph Lynn Darger Jr. and Alina B. Darger; their four older children, Joseph, Laura, Shad, Ashton; as well as many extended family. Her grandfather Joseph Lynn Darger Sr. preceded her in death.
