OREM — The Digital HandShake Server from iLumin Corp. has been chosen as a finalist in the 2001 Government Computer News "Best New Technology Awards" competition.
Winners were to be announced Tuesday in Washington, D.C.
Finalists for the awards were selected from an average of 50 entries per category. In a double-blind process, judges rated each entry for innovation, usability, specifications and value. Entries accumulating the most points earned finalist awards.
The iLumin product enables businesses and government agencies to perform fast, paperless, secure and legally binding business transactions online. Privately held iLumin, founded in 1996, provides an open software system for organizations to deliver automated, enforceable online transactions.
