Sam A. Dispenza, 80, passed away March 20, 2001 at his home.

Born December 4, 1920 in Aguilar, Colorado to Sam and Annie Compagno Dispenza. He married Ann Hennings, she preceded him in death. Sam was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Copperton, and a veteran of World War II. He worked as a carpenter for Kennecott Copper Corporation. Sam was a member of the Bingham Fireman's Association, and of the United States Steel Workers of America.

He is survived by a brother, Joe (Diana) Dispenza; niece, Paulette Antonio; godson, Sam Compagno; and by several cousins. Preceded in death by his wife; his parents; brother, John; and sister, Tina.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 24, 10 a.m., Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 112 State Highway, Copperton. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale, Friday from 6-8 p.m., with Rosary at 7 p.m. Friends may also call at Immaculate Conception Saturday from 9-10 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
