Salt Lake-based Real Estate Federation has added several features to its Internet technology, including an online appointment center where potential buyers can schedule appointments with agents to see properties.

The federation, an Internet coalition of real estate brokers, said appointment request information is sent electronically to the brokerage firm, which follows up to confirm the appointment.

Consumers also can compose a list of favorite properties using the Federation's technology. When visiting a member broker's Web site, buyers can keep a running list of their favorite properties to review or add to whenever they log on. The federation also offers buyers the ability to e-mail friends or family members pertinent information and photos of listings they like.

The federation already had services such as the ability to print street maps and directions to each listing and to print brochures complete with pertinent details and photos on each listing.
