Salt Lake-based Linux NetworX Inc. has signed a letter of intent operating agreement that will allow EBIZ Enterprises Inc. to manufacture Linux NetworX cluster computer nodes in Texas.

The letter is a result of the companies' planned merger, expected to be completed in the second quarter of this year.

The nodes will be made at EBIZ's Technology Center in Houston.

Linux NetworX provides products with Linux "clustering" for research, industry, government and other technological fields. Cluster technology is a method of linking multiple, physically separate computers together to form a unified and more powerful system.

EBIZ develops and provides computer systems, software and accessories for the business computer market.
