Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Leah Snow Dyches, 88, of Moroni, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 22, 2001 at the Sanpete Valley Hospital.
Born March 31, 1912 in Fountain Green, UT to John H. and Caroline E. Allred Snow. She married Joseph Dyches on July 29, 1929 in Manti, UT, marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Leah and Joe celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary July 29, 2000.
Leah is survived by her husband and her children, Ruel (Karen) Dyches, Sandy, UT, Edgel (Marie) Dyches, Midvale, UT, Dale (Ruth) Dyches, Midvale, UT and JoAnn (Robert LaMont) Peatross, Payson, UT, and daughter-in-law, Charleen Dyches of Mesquite, NV. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Joseph Gary Dyches and her only sister, Nita Cook.
Leah's greatest joy in life was her family. She often would say "I have the best family." She leaves behind a legacy of hard work, loyalty and love. She was quick to see the positive and slow to anger. She will be missed by her 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. We will all miss her big hugs and I-love-you's.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 26, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the Moroni LDS Stake Center (82 N. Center). Friends and family may call on Sunday, March 25, 2001 from 6-8 p.m. at the Ursenbach Funeral Home (96 N. 100 W. Mt. Pleasant), and on Monday one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment in the Moroni City Cemetery.
