Members of a Utah Army Reserve unit specializing in public affairs will be activated and sent to the Yugoslav republic of Kosovo in May.

The unit, the Army Reserve's 358th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, currently is training at Fort Polk, La. The soldiers, based at Fort Douglas, will return to Utah in April before leaving for Kosovo.

During the six-month deployment, 18 of the unit's 24 members will provide media escorts and handle print and electronic reports from the region.
