Dwight Lyman Morrell, age 70, passed away peacefully in his home March 23,

2001, after a ten month battle with cancer.

He was born Oct. 24, 1930 in Brigham City, UT to Lyman Daines Morrell and Florence Nichols Mor-rell. He married Jack-ie Welker of Albu-querque, NM April 23, 1980. Dwight graduated from Box Elder High School and Brigham Young University. He served in the Korean Con-flict. His lifetime ca-reer was as a Certified Public Accountant. He and Jackie were residents of Ventura, CA for 17 years, where he served as president of the Rotary Club of Ventura-East, 1994-1995.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie, South Jordan, UT; children, Kay (Gail) Morrell, MD, Greta Morrell, UT, Lee Ann (Don) Hein, GA, Ken Morrell, UT, Shawna Morrell, WA; stepchil-dren, Tim (Peggy) Mitchusson, NM, Gwen (Alan) Wynn, NM, Pat (Janet) Mitchusson, NM, Gayla Woods, AZ, Jennifer (John) Stallings, KY; three brothers; and two sisters who all reside in Utah. Dwight is the proud grandfather of 19 grandchildren. His wit, guidance, and

loving ways will be missed by all.

Services will be Tues. March 27, 2001, 12 noon in the Glenmoor Third Ward chapel, 4881 W. Cindy Lane (9570 S). Friends may visit 6-8 p.m. Mon. March 26, 2001 at Mc-Dougal West Jordan Mortuary, 1861 W. 7800 S., and Tues. at the church, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S. Redwood Rd.
