FARMINGTON--<! > Darrell Kay Murray, Ph.D. returned home to our Heavenly Father, Thursday, March 22, 2001 after a courageous battle with a short illness.
He was born August 7, 1945 to James W. and Anna W. Murray of Myton, Utah.
He met his eternal sweetheart, JoAnn Butcher at Utah State University in 1963. They were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple upon his return from an LDS mission to Uruguay. He went on to obtain a Doctorate Degree in Anatomy from the University of Utah, where he spent much of his professional career doing medical research. In addition, he was also a professor of Anatomy and Biology at both the Universi-ty of Utah and Salt Lake Community College. He truly enjoyed teaching and cared about the success of each student, not just in his classroom, but in life. He was an active mem-ber of the LDS Church, and particularly loved working with the youth. He loved animals, boating, the outdoors and spending time with his family. He was an influence for good upon everyone he came in contact with. He was beloved and will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Deward. He is survived by his cherished wife JoAnn; children, Jeffrey
(LaNae), Jodi Page (Jeran), Jon, and Jacolin, and by his adored grandchildren McKenna and Zachary Kay Murray, and Jacee,
