Jordan literacy specialist Debbie Snow has been named the Reading Teacher of the Year by the International Reading Association.

Snow has been a teacher for 20 years and now works to train district staff for the Literacy Education Advocacy Project. She also is technical adviser for the State Office of Education's Reading in Excellence Act.
