Time still left for book shoppers to buy discount books to donate

Bookstore shoppers still have a few days to donate books to Utah elementary schools during Deseret Book's Month of a Thousand Books.

Deseret Book is offering a 25 percent discount on any books purchased by customers for donation to school libraries during March. A plate with the donor's name is inserted before the books are delivered to the donor's school of choice.

As a company, Deseret Book donates $40,000 toward elementary school library budgets. Books from the Utah Book Award Lists are purchased and donated to each of the school's elementary school libraries.
