EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Martin Straka scored twice and Aleksey Morozov added the go-ahead goal as the Pittsburgh Penguins snapped New Jersey's franchise-record 13-game winning streak with a 4-2 victory Sunday.
The 13-game run tied the third-longest in NHL history and was four games shy of the NHL record set by the Penguins in 1993.
Robert Lang added an empty-net goal with four seconds to play, and goaltender Johan Hedberg stopped 25 shots as the Devils lost for the first time since a 3-2 defeat against Carolina on Feb. 23.
Jason Arnott and Brian Rafalski scored for the Devils, who had three good scoring chances in the final three minutes only to see Hedberg deny Petr Sykora, Rafalski and Scott Niedermayer.
Trailing 2-1 in the second, the Penguins took the lead for good on a couple of lucky bounces off Niedermayer.
Straka tied the game at 4:38 when his wraparound shot hit off Niedermayer's skate and went into the net.
CANUCKS 2, WILD 2: At St. Paul, Minn., Vancouver squandered a two-goal lead and closed its longest road trip of the season with a 1-2-4 record.
Trent Klatt and Donald Brashear scored for Vancouver, while the Wild's goals came from defenseman Willie Mitchell and Filip Kuba.
FLAMES 3, BLACKHAWKS 1: At Chicago, Jerome Iginla scored his 30th goal of the season and assisted on Dave Lowry's go-ahead score as Calgary won for just the second time in 11 outings.
Calgary's Craig Conroy added a short-handed insurance goal late in the game, and Flames goalie Frank Brathwaite stopped 26 shots.
BRUINS 3, RANGERS 2: At New York, Bill Guerin and P.J. Axelsson scored 57 seconds apart in the third period to give Boston an important victory over New York in its fight to make the playoffs.
Guerin, who also had an assist, snapped a 1-1 tie 6:39 into the third with his career-high 38th goal. Axelsson made it a two-goal lead for the Bruins, two points behind eighth-place Carolina in the race for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot.
