Three teenage boys were arrested and Salt Lake County sheriff's deputies were looking for a fourth Monday following a weekend robbery spree.

The armed robberies began Saturday night just before 10 p.m. at the Amber Restaurant, 4639 S. 900 East. They continued into Sunday morning when the group robbed Albertson's at 8055 W. 3500 South and Dan's Food Store, 2330 E. 3300 South, just before 5 a.m., deputy Peggy Faulkner said.

Deputies spotted the getaway car shortly after the Dan's robbery. Following a short chase, the four teenagers got out of their car and ran, Faulkner said.

Two were arrested immediately. A third was arrested just before 8 a.m. when officers spotted the boy getting a ride from his cousin. The cousin was already supposed to be under house arrest for a previous incident, Faulkner said.

Investigators said Monday they know the identity of the fourth suspect and expected to arrest him soon.

The group and their getaway car matches the descriptions of two similar robberies in West Valley and one in Salt Lake City, Faulkner said.

The teens are suspected in the armed robbery of a Maverick store near 1900 South 3200 West early Sunday morning. A man with a gun forced the three employees to lie on the floor and sing "Old McDonald," while others took cash from the register, according to a police statement.
