Salt Lake-based Alpnet said Monday that its restructuring plan announced in November is complete.

The provider of multilingual information management services said it has strengthened its customer service, adjusted its technology focus and increased production outsourcing.

"As a result, Alpnet expects solid growth and profitability in 2001 with improved and distinctive value for Alpnet's customers," said a company press release.

The changes in customer service included the addition of about 20 new business development and account managers and growth in its consulting team. Customer feedback led to the adjustments in the technology focus, which include a move away from becoming a full-scale application service provider and a reduction on third-party commitments for data warehousing and communications.
