Pheby Crawford Dahl died peacefully in her sleep on March 24, 2001.
She was born 22 September 1918 in Enterprise, Utah to George Edward and Rhoda Crawford.
On December 14, 1938 Pheby married Clarence Dahl in the St. George Temple. They lived in St. George until 1954 when they moved to Covina, California and lived there for 25 years. They returned to St. George where Pheby and Clarence were temple workers.
Pheby was a talented, dedicated mother of six. She excelled in cooking, keeping an immaculate home, gardening, and flower arranging. Pheby enjoyed dancing and taught numerous youth how to dance. Softball and bowling were fun sports she played.
Pheby is survived by her children, DeAnna (Richard) Kemple; Carolynn (Brian) Smith; Janet (Kenneth) Reber; Cynthia (James)
Auble; David (Linda) Dahl; and Brad (Shelly) Dahl; brother, George Crawford; sisters, Ida Wade; Leona Balen; 26 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held March 29, 2001 at 1 p.m. at the Old Mission Road Chapel, 1433 East 7900 South, where friends may call one hour prior to services.
Interment and graveside services will be held in St. George, Utah on March 30, 2001 at 2 p.m. Under direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
