Together Again <! >

BOUNTIFUL--<! > Longtime Bountiful resident and loved wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister and friend Lucille Merrell Graham departed this life on March 24, 2001 in Tucson, AZ of complications from pneumonia.

Due to ill health, she and Raymond moved to Tucson to the home of their daughter, Karla, where they were cared for.

She was born on September 17, 1919 in Richmond, New Mexico to Ernest Leroy and Verna May Moffett Merrell. On February 8, 1938 she married Raymond Carbine Graham in the Mesa Arizona Temple. Her eternal sweetheart preceded her in death on January 12, 2000 after 62 years. After having lived in their beloved Southwest they made their home in Bountiful for 43 years.

Their love of the Southwest was shown in the beautiful machine embroidery pieces displayed in their home. Lucille loved the art of machine embroidery and taught that skill to many students that will fondly remember her love and appreciation for the art. She was the author of four machine embroidery manuals. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as a Relief Society president and many other positions.
