Fred Mathisen passed away at home on March 24, 2001. Born February 15, 1938 in Salt Lake City.
Thank you for being there always and for accepting us as we are. Thank you for the bandages on our boo-boos and the hugs to dry our tears.
But, most of all, thank you for your smile.
You always gave us more than you had to give. We will always love and miss you and look forward to being with you again.
Fred is survived by his wife Frances; children Kathlene Spagnoletto, JR, Nikki, and Matt Mathisen; 13 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. on Wed. March 28, 2001 at the Hunter 18th Ward 5600 West 3737 South in West Valley City. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the ward for visitation. Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Estates.
