Obituary: Michael Roy Davidson

Michael Roy Davidson, 47 passed away at home Friday, March 24, 2001 after a valiant battle with colon cancer.

Michael was born in Salt Lake City on April 1, 1953 to Dan W. and Bonnie Davidson. He married Stephanie Fitt Coletti on Nov, 27, 1993. Michael fulfilled his childhood ambition to drive truck and was employed by Fleming Foods.

An elementary school teacher predicted that Michael would "grin his way through life" and he lived up to that prediction. Michael was renowned for his sense of humor and beautiful red hair, and he brightened the life of all who knew him. He loved playing practical jokes, camping with his family and friends, and tinkering around the house. He possessed boundless energy and positive attitude, and his sense of humor endured to the end.

He is survived by his wife and children, Jennifer Coletti, Nicholas Coletti, Jessi

Jordan, and Samuel Davidson; mother, Bonnie R. Davidson; sister, Leni Balluff; brothers, Scott (Angene) Davidson, Dan (Carolyn) Davidson, Curtis (Wanda) Davidson, and Aaron (Tracy) Davidson. Preceded in death by his father, Dan W. Davidson.

Services will be held on Wed., March 28, 2001 at 11 am at the Union Park 1st Ward, 7400 South 1000 East. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in Michael's name to the American Cancer

Society.
