Oscar statuettes are lined up awaiting transport Monday outside Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles after Sunday's Academy Awards presentation. A worldwide audience of 800 million watched the show. Also Monday, the Chinese-American comunity of Los Angeles came out in force to thank director Ang Lee for raising the profile of Chinese culture through his film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon." Fans waited nearly two hours for the chance to see, hear and be photographed with the Taiwan-born Lee. "Crouching Tiger" won Oscars for best foreign-language film, cinematography, art direction and score.
