OAKDALE, Minn. (AP) — Two murder suspects who overpowered guards and escaped from a county jail were recaptured by FBI agents after two days on the run.
The suspects were taken into custody Tuesday without incident. They were arrested in the basement of a home in Oakdale, a suburb of Minneapolis-St. Paul, authorities said.
Two women, ages 49 and 19, living upstairs were also being held. Both may be charged with harboring fugitives, said FBI special agent Paul McCabe.
