AMERICAN FORK — Students at American Fork High School are calling on area residents to donate items to a massive service project called, "Change the Life of a Child."
Under the direction of RoseAnn Gunther, the PTSA, administration, faculty and student body will be making approximately 1,100 education kits that will be distributed to needy children throughout the world. Donation items include: pencils, scissors, rulers, paper, chalk and more. A humanitarian assembly will be held Thursday, April 12, at 9:05 and 10:20 a.m. Students hope to have all items collected by April 14. Items will be prepared for shipping on April 17. The photography department and CAVE-TV at the high school are documenting this project on film and video.
