Bertha Elizabeth Bills Harrison, age 91, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2001.

Born May 13, 1909 in Riverton, Utah, to Raymond and Della Crane Bills. She married Parley Alma Harrison March 4, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple on March 4, 1980, their 50th wedding anniversary.

Bertha served many LDS church callings. She touched the lives of many children as a Sunday School teacher for over 30 years and a temple worker at the Jordan River Temple for 11 years. Over the years she enjoyed caring for many pets and her beautiful gardens.

Survived by her daughters: LaRae (Wayne) Burbank, Janice Heaps; eight grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ray (Donna) Bills; sisters, Zelda Lloyd of Midvale, Orpha Eastman of Herriman, Gladys (Jack) Fenstermaker of Grantsville; sisters-in-law, Mona (Bill) Smith, Myrth Knighton. Preceded in death by husband, Parley; son-in-law, Raymond Heaps; great-granddaughter, Nikki Brady; brothers, Wes, Stan, and Ivan Bills.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 30, 2001, 11 a.m. at the Midvale 3rd Ward LDS Chapel, 7825 South Olympus Street (220 West), Midvale, UT. Friends may call Thursday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Rd. and Friday one hour prior to services at the church.
