Our beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, cousin, aunt, granny and great granny, friend and special angel passed away at the age of 55 on March 26, 2001 after a long battle with emphysema.
She was born May 19, 1945 to Van Parkin and Jessie Mangum. She was married to her life long love Woody for 25 years. She was a cook for the Jordan School District for many years and loved serving all her "little people". She had a heart as big as the earth and was always putting others needs in front of her own. She loved camping and fishing and family barbecues. She loved going "Out West" to "Wo" with her special sister Joyce. She loved getting the family together. Her kids and grandkids lit up her life. The Utah Jazz and especially her "Johnny Stockton" and her car "Black Beauty" kept her going. Mom will always be known for her immaculate "Elvis Room" and her special collectibles. She is a true "Angel" and will be very much missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Lloyd G. Woodward; her mother Jessie Mangum; mother-in law Thelma Woodward; sisters Joyce (Gerald Garn), Debbie Johnson (Donny); brothers Jim Pierce (Barbara) Weston Caswell (Kim); daughters Tammy (Tom Geigle) Misty (Jordan Hale) Cindy (Allen Beiser) and son Joey Johnson (Cozann) and many special grandchildren and great grandchildren that are her special treasures.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2001 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary 10600 S. 1700 E. Sandy, UT.
