Clare Flowers, age 77, passed away on March 23rd, 2001 at home with his loving family.

Born in Salt Lake City, on July 8, 1923, he

is survived by his wife Allyson, their three children, Arija, Ashleigh and Jordan; also by his children Michael (Joan) Flowers, Peggy Acomb, Mark Flowers, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three sisters

Margaret Baker, Camille Hadley, Gertrude Waterman, and brother Eugene Flowers, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Effie Bourne.

Clare was a Social Worker and Family Therapist, helping many with his caring concern over the past 50 years. His enthusiasm for life, love for his family and friends and pride in all his children were the driving forces in his life.

He was a 1951 graduate of the University of Utah, a founding member of the Redmond Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow.

In recent years he was active in PTSA Legislative issues and received the Golden Acorn Award for service. He proudly served in World War II and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.

He will be in our hearts always.

Services will be held at Green's Mortuary, Redmond, WA. Thursday, March 29th with burial at the Tahoma National Cemetery.
