MEN'S TENNIS: In the first match of a three-match road trip to California, the BYU men's tennis team lost to No. 7 Stanford on Wednesday, 7-0.

BYU, 9-6, will travel to San Diego State on Friday.

WOMEN'S GOLF: Lisa Dernick and Summer Pierce shot a pair of 76s during the second round of the Thompson Rainbow Invitational Tuesday, moving the Cougars into sixth place behind four of the nation's top 20 teams.

TRACK AND FIELD: The BYU men's and women's track teams will split this weekend, with the distance runners competing in the Stanford Invitational and the sprinters and field events competitors traveling to the UTEP Invitational.
