Barbara Anne Baxter Hope left this life Sunday, March 25, 2001, age 48, in Plano, TX.
She was preceded by her father Bill Bax-ter and her brother Blaine and survived by her husband Robert (Bob) Hope, sons Craig and Bryan, mother Gayle Baxter St. George, UT, sisters Cathy Baxter and Bette Jackstien, (Larry) Salt Lake City, UT, brother Rand Baxter, San Jose, CA, loving nieces, nephews and many children she helped raise.
Born in Idaho Falls, ID, Jan. 6, 1953 to Bill and Gayle Baxter. Graduated from Skyline High School 1971 and attended Ricks College and BYU studying early childhood education. Married Jan. 2, 1975 in Idaho Falls Temple, she lived in Plano, TX the past 18 years. Her entire life has been one of true friendship and service to all, especially children. She served faithfully in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has lovingly raised many other children. Her example inspires love and service that is felt now and in generations to come. We will love her always and will miss her until we are reunited.
Services will be at the Davis Creek 1st Ward - 50 E. 825 So. Farmington, UT 12:30 p.m. Sat. March 31. Burial will follow in the Farmington Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers are requested to be made to the Barbara Hope Memorial Fund - 2701-C West 15th St. #238 - Plano, TX 75075.
