Obituary: Jenoice Mounteer Ford

Jenoice M. Ford passed away peacefully at home on March 1, 2001 in Salt Lake.

Born October 23, 1918 in American Fork, Utah to Joseph and Rella Mounteer. She married Claude Ford in 1938, their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Jenoice was a woman of great compassion and believed in living life to its fullest. She had a wonderful sense of humor, loved the outdoors, and got much satisfaction from helping others. She worked as a nurse's aid at LDS Hospital on 5 central for many years. She enjoyed her art projects and bowling.

Survived by her sons; Wayne (Pat), Paul (Gabrielle), Curt Ford; daughters; Sharon (Max) VanAusdal, Linda (Grant) Nielson, Toni Carlisle, Lori (Charles) Galvin; 23 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Claude Ford; brother, Curt Mounteer; grandson, Richard Nielson, and son-in-law Max

VanAusdal.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m.

Monday, March 5, 2001 in the chapel at

Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd). Friends may call Sunday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services at Mountain View.
