RICHARDSON, Texas (AP) — A set of risers collapsed during a high school class photo shoot Thursday, dumping students to the ground and sending at least 19 to hospitals.

None of the injuries appeared life-threatening, authorities said. A total of 54 students were injured. Most were treated at the scene.

Some of the students suffered broken bones, police said.

About 400 students were posing for the photo in front of Richardson High School in suburban Dallas when the risers gave way.
