Moisture lingers on a tulip after a Thursday morning storm dropped half an inch of rain on much of the Salt Lake Valley and 7 to 12 inches of snow in the mountains. The National Weather Service predicts the sun will rule the weekend with temperatures expected to climb into the lows 60s Saturday and the low 70s on Sunday. But a cold front will follow and could reach the Wasatch Front late Monday.
