Gwendolyn Russell, age 55, passed away March 29, 2001 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born June 6, 1945 in Delta, Utah to Malvola Bennett and Paul Edmund Russell. She grad-uated from Juab High School and Steven Henagers College. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings, including a Stake mission. She was endowed in the Salt Lake Temple March 27, 1970. She worked and retired from Hill Air Force Base. Gwen had an overwhelming love of people and made friends easily. She was very proud of her family.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Paul Russell of West Valley City; her sisters, Sharon (Bruce) Jensen and Debra (Steven) Stowell of Sandy; five nieces, three nephews, three grandnieces, and five grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2001 in the Union Fort 5th Ward, 6770 South 500 East, Midvale, UT. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State and at the church one hour prior to services. The Burial will be in the Vine Bluff Cemetery Nephi, Utah at 3 p.m.
