Obituary: Toussaint Memorez Bala Clark Battison

Trudy was born August 24, 1929 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Edward San Pierre Bala and Elsie Vada Wilson Bala. She died at age 71 on March 6, 2001.

She graduated from the California Institute of Medical Technology in Los Angeles, CA in 1946 and continued her education at University of California extension in San Diego 1947-1959. Married Kenneth Ray Clark

December 7, 1947. He died in 1962. She married Ray E. Battison October 17, 1964. She was employed in the medical field since 1948. She retired from LDS Hospital after 35 years in the Nuclear Medicine Department. She served as clinical advisor, instructor, clinical site inspector and on the Radiology Technologist licensing board. She received many certificates and awards.

Trudy loved her homes both in Salt Lake City and San Diego, CA. She loved to cook and entertain and loved her friends dearly.

She is survived by her son, Jack K. Clark (Carole) Sandy, UT; stepsons: Craig Battison (Carol) Mercer, island, WA and Richard Battison (Barbara) Midvale, UT; her beloved granddaughter and husband, Memorez (Dustin) and grandson, Travis Clark who so loved helping in the last phase of life; brother, Edward Bala and family, Idaho Falls, ID and Alameda Hornsby and family, Los Angeles, CA. Special thanks to Mr. Bill Thiese for his many years of friendship and caring support.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2001 at 12 noon in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive where family and friends may call on Friday 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday 10:45-11:45 a.m., prior to services.

Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
